We took the tube to Greenpark station and walked through the park to get to the palace. While we were walking Oscar told me what he would like to do today is to meet the Queen (and the King if possible). He was at the right place! (well... we didn't see the Queen but saw her house at least!).

We were little bit disappointed to find out that there weren't proper guards on duty when we got there. I really wanted to get a photo of Oliver with the guard. Instead I got a photo of Oscar with a policeman who was guarding the palace.
Oliver was not too happy strapped in the buggy as he knows he can walk. If I let him walk it takes 3 times longer to get to places so I tend to keep him in the buggy when we are sightseeing unless we are in a big empty space like this.
Oscar is very good with Oliver and they love playing together. They had lots of fun running around and giggling!
We found more guards as we walked to the station. They were guarding Whitehall. Oscar and Oliver were so impressed with the horse! Those guards must get so frustrated by all the tourists coming near them and taking photos, they are not supposed to talk (I think) so just standing there pretending they cannot hear any of our conversations.

Beside Whitehall we found police hats for Oscar and Gus, they were a bit too big for Oliver so instead he got a big Red London Bus. Oscar was so delighted with the hat and wore it for the rest of the day. He was a great policeman showing us the way and explaining about the sights. And for sure he was the most popular policeman in the city - everyone passed him gave him a complement on his hat.
