Should I take the car...?

This afternoon I went to my friend's house for a cuppa. She lives in the same simpang, and I can see her house from my window. My dilemma was, driving or walking? Here in Brunei people drive everywhere not because they are lazy just because it is part of our lifestyle. But today I had a very good reason to take my car down.

This is how our driveway looks like right now (well actually this is the part past our house and carrying onto our neighbours). They are very noisy and messy but Oliver has been having a great time seeing the big digger going up and down : )

Do you agree it was a good choice taking the car? I think so, the only thing was my amah Rosie just washed the car before I left and she didn't look too impressed when I got home (she knew where I went...).
