Happy Birthday Lucas! Oliver's little friend Lucas will be turning 2 this coming week. On Saturday we were invited to join his birthday celebrations at The Empire. The Kids Zone at the hotel turned into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Upon arrival Oliver was given a customised Mickey hat - what a great idea!
The first part of the party took place in the kiddy pool. It was roasting hot so we made sure we were fully covered in suncream then jumped in the pool. Some of us had to stay around the shady area - it was unbelievably hot!
All the children and adults had a blast on the water slide.

I thought Oliver might be scared but no no he wanted more and more and more!
And for the second part of the party we sat down in the kiddy party area and sang happy birthday to Lucas! Of course it was filled with Mickey Mouse : )

It was such a lovely setting for the family party. Great facilities and great surroundings. I almost thought we were on a vacation somewhere... We enjoyed it so much we might have to plan a night away at the Empire : )
