Mmmmmmmm Mango!

Matthew came back from his Surabaya flight the other day with a big box of mangos. I have looked forward to this season every year since we moved to Brunei. Fresh mangos, so many of them and so cheap.
In Japan mangos are very expensive, mostly because we can only grow them in the very south of Japan, South Kyushu area and Okinawa. Plus we have a unique fruit market where things get so over priced. Just from curiosity I looked up how much they are online - they were crazy prices of 3,800yen ($60BND) per 1kg!!





We have been enjoying just freshly cut, with some yoghurt, making them into mango lassi etc etc.
Mmmmmmm.... I can never have enough : ) Especially knowing how much they are in Japan.
