Oobanyaki & Mister Donut

Whenever we come home, we go to the nearest shopping mall Jusco. It is not an upmarket mall but has everything we need. Today I put Oliver in the stroller and walked there. Oliver was very interested in everything he saw (just like his mummy).

We had a good look around the mall but I only bought some Japanese fabric for someone special. It was almost afternoon tea time so I got some sweets to have with my mum later. I got some "ooban-yaki". The skin tastes like pancakes and are filled with either sweet bean pastes or custard.



It is very fascinating to watch how they make them.

I also went to this donut shop. If you ever come to Japan you must visit and try their donut!! They are so yummy!!!!!! (Sorry Matthew...)





They are not heavy like American donuts, some are made from Tofu!
